GFAFB Important Information

This is your home for all the info you need for our Grand Forks Air Force Base Charity Events! As always, our facebook account will be the best resource for updates in regards to this event. 

Each year our partners at Grand Forks Air Force Base that help make this event happen pic a charity that is important to them.  100% of Entry Fees from this event are donated to the charity, in addition we will also accept cash donations on site, and if time allows have “buck runs” at the end of Saturday’s competition. In the nearly 10 years of this event we have raised over $20,000!

ANYONE that is going to attend(spectator or participant) must be pre-vetted for access to the base unless you already have your own credentials for base access. Pre-vetting will include emailing us at our club email some specific info such as Full Name(First, Middle, Last), Date of Birth, Drivers License # and State of Issue. There will be a cut off date of roughly 1 full week prior to the event go get pre-vetted, there are no exceptions to this. 

Other notable information for this event to follow: 

  1. We are on an active military base. All vehicles coming on base are subject to search. Drugs, alcohol, and weapons can not be brought on base. 
  2. Please be respectful while on base, it is a privilege and lots of work to make this event happen. Clean up after yourself, plan to bring all your trash off base, obey speed limits and posted signage, and do not wander around the base beyond the approved routes. Please also be courteous and thank our wonderful hosts for this event, and those who help make it happen.
  3. Obey instructions from any base personnel. 
  4. All vehicles will require a tech inspection. 
  5. If your vehicle leaks fluids, please address this before the event, or make sure there is a way to mitigate leaks onto flight line concrete or while in grid. 

Approved Base routes of travel: 

  • Enter Base via main entrance. 
  • Follow Steen Blvd until you reach Eielson Street
  • Make a Left at the stop sign at Eielson Street to head South.
  • You will make the first right to access the event area. 
  • Use GPS coordinates in Google Maps if needed
